Refund Policy

By Tiny Desk AI · Last updated

Bought credits for the Charlie Wilson Tiny Desk AI video generator and changed your mind? This page explains when Tiny Desk AI gives your money back. It forms part of our terms of service and applies the same way however you paid. Card purchases are sold by Anyway, our merchant of record, so card refunds are paid out by Anyway; USDC purchases are sold by us, so we send USDC refunds ourselves.

When you can get your money back

  • You bought a credit pack no more than 7 days ago and have not spent any credits on your account since buying it.
  • You were charged twice, charged without your permission, or charged the wrong amount, and we have confirmed it.

When a refund is not possible

  • More than 7 days have passed since you bought the pack.
  • Credits have been spent on your account since you bought the pack.
  • The account was closed for breaking the terms of service. Its unused credits are not refunded unless the law requires it.

A few examples

  • You bought the Starter pack yesterday, then decided the trend is not for you and never made a video. That pack is inside the 7-day window and untouched, so it qualifies for a full refund.
  • You bought the Creator pack and made one short test video with it. Credits were spent after the purchase, so the pack no longer qualifies, even though most of its credits are still on your balance. They stay there and never expire.
  • You bought the Studio pack 9 days ago and have not used it. The window has closed, so it cannot be refunded, but the credits remain yours to use at any time.
  • Your card statement shows the same pack charged twice for a single order. Once we have confirmed the duplicate, the extra charge is refunded in full, whatever happened to your credits.
  • A video failed halfway through rendering. This is not a refund case at all: the credits for that video were already returned to your balance automatically.

What counts as spending credits

A pack stops qualifying the moment any video is started on your account after the purchase, because credits from every pack sit in one balance and cannot be told apart once they are used. That holds even if the video was paid for with credits left over from an older pack. If you are thinking about a refund, ask before you make your next video, and the 7 days are counted from the date and time on your receipt.

Videos that do not come out

There is nothing to request when a video fails. If generation breaks, or the finished video fails our content check, the credits go straight back to your balance without you asking.

Asking for a refund

Write to support@tiny-desk-ai.pro from the email address on your account and give the date you bought the pack. If you paid in USDC, add the transaction hash or the wallet address the payment came from.

Timing

Every refund request gets an answer within 3 business days. After approval, Anyway sends card refunds back to the card or account you paid with, and your bank may need a few extra days to show it. USDC refunds go back on the Base network to the paying wallet within 3 business days of approval. In both cases, the credits from the refunded pack are taken off your balance.

Card refunds

Anyway sold you the pack as our merchant of record, so a card refund is issued by Anyway back to the same card or account the payment came from. It cannot be redirected to a different card, sent as store credit or paid out in cash. Your receipt from Anyway shows the order details; quoting them in your email helps us find the payment straight away. Once the refund is issued, how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card provider, which is why we cannot promise an exact day for it to show on your statement.

USDC refunds

USDC payments arrive in our own wallet, so we handle those refunds ourselves. The refund is sent in USDC on the Base network to the wallet address the payment came from, never to a different address, a different network or another token. Before sending it we match the transaction hash or the paying wallet to your order, so including one of them in your email saves a round of questions. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, so please check that the paying wallet is still yours and still able to receive USDC on Base.

Talk to us before disputing a charge

If something looks wrong on your statement, email support@tiny-desk-ai.pro first. A duplicate charge, a pack you did not mean to buy or credits that did not arrive can usually be sorted out by email within the reply time above, which is faster than a dispute through your bank and lets us fix the cause as well as the charge.

Bought the wrong pack?

It happens: you meant to buy the Studio pack and clicked Creator, or the other way round. As long as you have not made a video since, the pack you did not want still falls under the normal rule above. Ask for the refund first and buy the right pack afterwards, rather than the other way round, because a video made with the new credits would count as spending and close the window for both.

Packs paid for by someone else

If a friend or family member paid for a pack on your account, the refund still goes back to the card, account or wallet that made the payment, not to you. Either of you can send the request, but it must come from the email address on the account that received the credits, or include the payment details so we can match it.

Keeping track of your purchases

Every pack you buy is listed with its date, amount and status on your account page, next to the credits it added. Card buyers also receive a receipt from Anyway, and USDC buyers can see the transaction on the Base network at any time. Keeping that receipt or transaction hash makes any later question about a payment quicker to answer.

What a refund leaves untouched

A refund only takes back the credits from the refunded pack. Videos you made earlier with credits from other packs stay on your account, and so do your remaining credits, your order history and everything else in it. Your account stays open unless you choose to close it.

Before you buy

If you are not sure the trend is for you, start small: the Starter pack is enough for a couple of 480p videos, and the credits it leaves behind are never wasted. The price, the credits and what each pack unlocks are all shown before checkout, and nothing is charged until you confirm the payment.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. A request you sent before a change is handled under the version that was in place when you sent it.

Consumer law

Where consumer law gives you rights that cannot be signed away, such as a legal right to withdraw from a purchase, this policy does not reduce them.
